We are partners with Chosen Junior School in Matugga, Uganda.

Since the school's simple beginnings in 2012, with 40 of the neighborhood's neediest children, we have watched and prayed and helped in many ways. Chosen Junior School is now thriving and serving 270 students as of July 2017!

Rejoice with us! Here are the updates from our latest board meeting.

Updates from Chosen with a Mission (CWAM)
• Chosen Junior School Headmaster, James Kintu, has worked hard with the CWAM board to create a school budget, and it looks like the school, which serves 270 students, can provide a year’s worth of meals, books, meeting space, uniforms, and pay teachers’ salaries for $20,000. That’s less than the cost of tuition for one student in many American private schools. Pray for the board as they seek sponsor churches and donors to support the school. Pray also if God is calling YOU to be a sponsor.
• 7 Chosen Junior School Students passed the National Exam, and they have been promoted to secondary school. One student has received a full tuition scholarship and six students have received half tuition scholarships. A generous donor has covered the first 33% of their school tuition, so each of the six students only need to raise $90 to cover the rest of the year! (Students pictured here)
• A donor has already funded the rent for the school’s current space for all of 2018 as they make plans to construct their new school building and dormitories by the start of 2019!
